Distribution Of Marks For CIA

The Manonmaniam Sundaranar University has an evaluation structure wherein 75% marks are awarded on the basis of end semester examination and the rest 25% are awarded on the basis of Continuous Internal Assessment.

Marks allocated to internal assessment is further sectioned into different categories: For UG, 20% marks on internal exams and 5% marks to the assignment submission. For PG students, 15% marks are based on Internal exams, 5% marks for seminar presentation and 5% for assignment submission. Three internal exams are conducted for students and their final marks are calculated by taking the best two marks into consideration.
